To our dear concern people, lets lived in harmony now and our next life or generations shower with wealth, happiness, good politicians, lots of free expressways and anti corruptions. And for those who take take and not give alamak dunno what happen la, ....

Ok.. back to highway, to anyone who read this tropic and dont want to involve ask yourself honestly... Now this is for younger group: wont it be nice to plan to go out of Kuching driving on a nice express highway with group of friends during school holidays(this included seeing brunei and Kota kinabalu or wise versa)it can be more than 2 to 3 cars or chartered a bus shuttle and being adventure. Instead of calling up friends who can or cannot afford for the flight while taking hours bowsing for cheaper fare.
Now for those family who has to drive thru everyday or occasionally for work or business. wont it be much safer and a place where they can pull over for a nice break. For those who has phobiawith flying will be pleased to see other part of sarawak, sabah, Brunei. Now for those who like to go out of kuching, sibu.miri etc just for weekend or a little break from home, wont it nice to jump into the car and drove off. And more... THe Main point of these issue is when you get to the next destination you dont have to rely on other transportation. Free and easy. Lots of advantages !! Your independent!!!
Flying is good too, but see we have a choice!! Isnt it great!!

hmm, again, what is your point? You started accusing me of something which is not true and now what is this again?

and yumyum, lets just say, yes, it may happen, one it takes time, a very long one. that's all I can tell you.

Well, we lived in the world of full of accusations, guilts, hatred, discourage, beloved, laughers, forgiveness and joys. Which to choose from?
Isnt it our responsibility to deal and take care of our own happiness and satisfaction in life. Guilt is a power play - emotional abuse. Lets not let our mind be fool.

Public support and opinion, c'mon beautiul sarawakian! wakey! wakey! :)))

Questions may raise:

Question 1. Yes I like this to happen soon but how?

Question 2. where do we go about JKR,DBKU?

Question 3. will this project be a open proposal to locals or foreigners like Japan, china etc if pay toll has been rise to implied to cover the costs in the long run?

Join in to ask more questions if in doubt... Public support is the key to success and improvement of our needs. Sarawak has been improved but still need further upgrading importantly, securities, hospitals, educations, roads, express highways, walk lane around residential, welfare, sports complexs, entertainment like proper dance, drama schools ..

Yes, we may have migrate away from our home land but remember at the end of the day all our grands still lies here

Before they even start with the highways and stuff they should also consider improving the public transport system in Kuching. I is really horrible I am not sure about other parts of Sarawak though.

On highway... well we do have a so called pan borneo highway...how good it is I have no idea. If i am not mistaken there is another highway comin up in Kuching it is located in Matang area supposingly to be an 8 lanes highway connecting the new federal offices at Rambungan to some where near the Matang Roundabout.

see yumyum, everything is concentrated on the developments of Kuching itself and not the entire Sarawak.

When is the highway linkage plan ever going to be put into serious considerations? Not so soon.

Infrastructure is so important to the growth and development of any country. You can look through the history of many countries and see how transportation and shipping of goods helped them become world powers. Spain and Portugal had great shipping that helped build their empires and the Romans had an impressive road system. Even America would be nowhere without the road system that was built during the great depression (years 1929-1939).

If east Malaysia were to get a long, wide, fairly straight road across it you would see the economy grow extremely quickly and the people benefit greatly. It would open up new land for use, make access to minerals easier, increase the sale ability and price of real estate, increase tourism, add jobs, bring in tax money, encourage foreign companies to build there, etc. I could list about 100 more positive reasons to do it. Sure there are some drawbacks but I honestly believe the positive reasons to undertake such a project greatly outweigh the negative.

Drawbacks?

-Money is never enough
-With the level of corruption, nobody would care about the benefits of the people
-Distance is too long
-Geographical factors, too many mountains and poor low level land
-Too many traffics
-Other areas of development are more important at the moment

and the list goes on...
