I can't start in safe mode.

I found the file in WINDOWS > System32 > blphc3fbj0ej3k

It's a 'screen saver' file. According to my fren it's called Joke-Bluescreen.

I've tried looking for solutions on the Net, but some of them are waaay too technical for me to understand.

And it's currently my wallpaper!! Can't change it! My Desktop Properties have no wallpaper option anymore!!

Arghrghrghrrhgh.

How to get it out of my computer?!?!?! Any way other than reformating??

My fren said McAfee could detect the virus and remove it automatically. I have Symantec and Norton and both didn't detect?!!?!? I've just updated them few days ago!

Ok.. I went to delete 3 suspicious files from System32 and looks like things are back to normal.

I wouldn't recommend any anti-virus at the moment (at least u can try avast! and do a STARTUP scan on the options; move virus to chest) other than formatting the whole machine cause the virus vault had replaced your system files and it's pretty hard to search them though.

virtumonde is a popup adware which allow malicious URL loads into your PC once you're online. As for privacy remover m64, the trojan may duplicate the virus files concurrently in your hard drive.

I've experienced such on my user's PC, so the only way is to reformat the entire PC. :) Are you using Windows OS XP or Vista? If you're using vista, that should be the right screen dialogue box else it's a system paradox - which means you have to format the syetem prior to hazardous system confinement.

edit : symantec just sucked. current preferred home user anti-virus would be BITDEFENDER.

well, i think that AVIRA Antivirus is the best, and its free some more. By two independant test conducted, it scores almost perfect top two. And is both the top..av-comparatives and av-test by virus buletin. haha

Bit defender losses quite a lot since these two years..more false positives..
Fuyu, just run a virus test on it la..or if its ok already, nonid to care so much la. No effect one.
