thank god that tiger is v much alive n kicking , does anyone know the email address or customer service number or TR in singapore or sarawak?just for calling in to cofirm a ticket or check the status or a flight , thanks

Used Maybank cards and Citibank cards and they went through fine.
Unfortunately I being a first time user already "kena" their S$5 per passenger per trip per sector for credit card booking trap and ended up with RM50 extra charge in my final bill. Next time I better use Air Asia. Too many hidden charges buried in the process. You use credit card , they charge S$5 per sector per trip per person. You book through call center its S$15. Either way you're screwed.Next time I will take the lump sum charges and only then compare to Air Asia prices. Anybody know if they will weigh your Handcarry to make sure its below 7kgs? If more they will charge S$15 per kg or You Have to check it in for S$25. I have a feeling they will. Being too shady is really not good for bussiness.

That is how most but not all LCC work...to have to pay for anything that is "extra"...hahaha!I heard additional baggage check-in (if you didnt buy 1 bag allowence) is RM68 per bag (15kilo) when you buy at the counter....

Yup. That alone will cut away what ever savings you thought you had by travelling with Tiger.
My tiket to and from Singapore cost RM114 (RM0 ticket promo), plus the S$10 surcharge (S$5 per way)=RM25 is RM139, Plus the RM68 15kg luggage check in on my return flight only = RM207. Should buy the 15kg online - Newbie mistake. But nomore. Air Asia ticket cost RM184 and can use web check in and never need to worry about overweight handcarry luggage summore. I can hear Tony Fernandez laughing at me now.

Tiger is in Budget Terminal.

Starting March 1, we can choose to fly Jestar (Asia)...if 0 fares return is RM195...free baggage allowence of 20kilo, depart and arrive at T1 Changi. Will be taking Jetstar on Apr 30...catching CATS at the Esplanade...with so many LCC, it is now a matter of preference I guess....happy flying!
