Yeah...Kompia originally made by Foochows...wider choices in Sibu
may see some in Miri and Sarikei as they are some communities around.
I heard more and more Sibu folks reside in Kuching
so, keep your eyes on when you see kompia or kampuah stalls :)

kompia texture is akin to a bagel... one angmo style the other chinese.

kompia is not angmoh style, far from it.

it tastes similar to Naan bread, indian style as naan is also baked in the big earthen oven and scooped out with a long fork from the oven.

they are all over the place.

if u see some stall selling kam pua mee , or foochow noodles, sometimes they may have too.

one place is foody goody coffee shop at tabuan laru, same row with kuching specialist hospital/

go check it out!
