I believe 75% of Sarawak population would agree on that.

We share no common interest with peninsular government.

bytea: where did u get that statistics? by conducting a reliable survey is't?

iIndonesia has no right for this land except Brunei who have power to claim sarawak back! The King of Brunei handed over Sarawak to James Brooke= HK and China etc bla bla bla...

p/s: I dont mind if majority of Sarawakian are choosing to be Independent! but the timing must be right. do we stil have all the resources like what we have before? how will be the leader of this state? Migrant Chinese? Or Bumis?

I do agree that Brunei has the right or power to claim sarawak back, but Indonesia's action is somewhat unexpected. They have the army and can ramp us anytime they want. Deploy their army in Kalimantan, and what can we do? No doubt that the UN will help us somehow but only after damage is done.

Thinking back. What has the federal government done to Sarawak and Sabah in terms of development? Maybe someone can produce a list?

the earlier government provided the foundation for sarawak's dev. & progress. education is the most vital part, healthcare, telecomm., infrastructure [satok suspension bridge, roads (part of current intercity roads were built and planned by them), railroads!, airstrips and airports], post office, courts & etc.

Well now, we opted for self governance not under the british or west M rule.

We had given enough of of wealth to help built the twin towers, F1 circuit, KLIA, Putrajaya & etc.
