okay, maybe (i said maybe) i can believed the rest of the fact in that article but abve statement make me wonder, are we sure only 3% of virgin forest remain? sarawak stil covered by 75-80% of forest and i dont think that out of which, only 3% is virgin. must be more than that...Only my POV. and anyone, pls and pls show me the real data on our virgin forest! TQVM
The other day,i just flew back from Kota Kinabalu(visiting my relatives) and i can confirmed,it's more than 3% when i looked down from my window in the airplane - theres still a lot of timber to be chopped down for exports. I don't think we public can have any real knowledge/datas concerning our virgin forest.even statistics released for the people/rakyat's information are not 100%.I'll still continue to write on this thread but for the mean time...over to you guys/gals.

ahfeiko: agreed on every single word you type in. gov report maybe unreliable on this but we can see that our land is still covered with forest...i believed, more than 50%. so 3% is way too unreasonable..

so what's been chopped down and sold off is the past - really.who really and mostly profited from our timber ?? - is also the past. i can't do anything and i think ,a lot of you also can't do anything about it. i come to term with this lately, after i done a lot of readings.i think all leaders or ministers are just wonderful and should be efficient and dispensable becos we are the one who voted them.BUT...we didnt make sure they fulfills everything that we wished for - thats our mistakes. my " we didn't make sure" here means we kept on repeating the same thing for so many years and finally today, a lot of us are not happy. come next state election, vote not with your pen but vote with your heart and with a clear conscience.

Do they grow the timber back?

Can you coin the word "cronies" in this? Same thing with Marcos and Sukarto families too.

How are CM elected in Sarawak? He doesnt look like the white hair guy.

More reading here:

I am very sad after reading all these. It is corruption. Just like Marcos and Sukarto.

Why is this not published on the Sarawak newspaper for all to see?

A website has alleged that the Seattle FBI headquarters rests in a building owned by companies linked to the Sarawak chief minister.
