Kenbest's first two known neighborhood mall, namely onetj and onejaya seems to be a mere failure in terms of marketing. but in terms of aesthetic of architecture, Kenbest produces good quality design modern building. Proud of that. The upcoming ST3 and cityone mall is a bigger project and both potrays fresh designed buildings that is to be proud of. Hopefully they will build more nice looking building in the future, possibly a tower or highrise building.

New banner has put on along Jln Tun Jugah. Yes we now can see who and who are coming to City One Mall. Something worth to wait for. GSC cinema, thank you and we welcome you! Metrojaya, we had bored about Parkson and we have another option to shop next time. And I also notice there is Baskin Robbin there, sounds promising..

Love Baskin Robbin, it shall be the first launch in East Malaysia. I think there are several stores only available in Sarawak but not in Sabah. Like Manhanttan Fish Market, Station One, Cold Storage, etc.

Two good shops I'm looking forward to already. A new cinema and Baskin Robbins. I can already taste the pralines and cream flavour....

I myself have a few concerns regarding the mall though, most of which have been brought up in the thread:

Maintenance of the mall. Judging from One TJ and One Jaya, Kenbest's management doesn't seem to all that impressive. Both buildings showed much promise, but when you enter it feels a bit like a ghost town, particularly One TJ. Is it the lack of a main attaction/anchor? If so, my hope is that if they maintain the condition/cleanliness of the place GSC and similar businesses will help to fill up the place.

I myself is a bit curious about how the shop is going to be set up, as Tequila mentioned, there are way too many stairwells for it to seem like a mall. It's more akin to a shoplot I can't imagine how that will work out. Best scenario it'll be something similar to Travillion, but hardly anyone bothers to visit the the shops above the ground floor.

Traffic is going to be a huge problem. I suspect I'd probably wait a month or two before I even bother going there. The junction is already traffic heavy even without the construction going on. I have my doubts as to whether this flyover will alleviate traffic especially with so many bottlenecks in and around the area :(

Though I have a somewhat pessimistic view of the project, I still have high hopes for it...would that considered oxymoronic? :P

Oh, one other thing, I heard there's going to be a church in the mall? That would prove interesting...praise and shop during the weekends

Haha... I'm going to The Spring when the day City One Mall open. No traffic jam, no big crowd and I have Starbucks there at Spring, City One seem no Starbucks kekeke....
