They assume a lot of people know and the hotels are fully booked (by the travel agency at least).

They can't assume this and that lah..

For sure there is a serious lacking of effort to put Sarawak on the world knowledge. I was talking to some friends who are from Australia, UK and the US. All know know is Singapore, when we talked about Malaysia or Sarawak, not many of them know about it. But the moment I mentioned BORNEO they said ahhh... I know what one. LOL.

Another thing, does anyone realised that there is a lack of proper roadsign/road name in Kuching. For a start, from Airport to City area. The road signs are not enuf, and from City to Damai let say, it's a bit lacking also. Making most tourist struggling to find their way.

The roads in Kuching...sighs....could be the worst in the world. I heard that the federal government allocated 90 mil to repair the roads... did they repaired it?? NO!

YES they did repair... like Maybeline said, go GREED ROAD. That road in constant repair... everyday of the week, every month and every year for as long as I can remember. You can find a new hole there every month! That must be the most expensive road in kuching.
