This sounded so familiar, probably becos the irony of it all is when the "dumps of society" grow up, they will be looking back at their "good old days" with the same kind of thoughts we are having now. It's LIFE, it's a loop karma thing. think good be good, think negative be negative. i am not much of a pilosoper, but seems like this la. if one person make one annoying car, another person will make another annoying car until everybody got this annoying car into a trend.

suddenly we talking about annoying people trends. kekeke... anyway, "jian guai bu guai" - after see the "big snake take a sht", will not feel "sakai" anymore. . . so let the car "pisst" from the backside when backing up, & let the kids piss their parents off at home, but out side the parents still treat them like "my-angel" to saving face & show people they are greatest parents on earth. ciew. . .
to change back to car subject: Anyone saw mugen civic (latest generation) in Kuching before? I heard the Honda salesman says 2 mugen 2.0 civic already on the road just wondering anyone in here saw it? everytime i see it in singapore, it just gives people adrenalin rush.

At least 1 mugen Civic in Miri and a big handful of 2.0 new Civics and even more new 1.8 Civics. Looks like sales is pretty good. Just hope they don't start putting jet sounds in reverse.

I understand where you're getting at. But at this point, if the kids are spoilt with cellphones and other toys, that I don't mind. But there are times I see parents pampering their children like they are some GOD up to a point where they would not admit their children had done something gravely wrong (in fact they even countered the arguement) and this will surely influence the child's upbringing. Probably the parents are bought up too harsh themselves until they do the complete opposite with their own children.

Sometimes it is good to let the children fall, learn things themselves.

If any of you remember the HUGE news about the Miri schoolgirls fighting (that was stupid, who'd want to shoot a video evidence of themselves????) the schoolgirl involved was problematic because the parents even went to school to beat up her teachers to 'teach them a lesson'. The child thinks he/she has done nothing wrong at this point, in fact, they think only others are wrong.

This is a very malaysian thing. It's gotten worse and worse and it doesn't matter what race, they are all becoming like this. That's why society now has deteriorated.

But swinging back to topic, what other car trends do you see? Black painted hoods which aren't carbon fiber at all?

tst tst tst, i think the parents watch too many koowakchai movie wanna immitate Ekin, fck up kid, fck up parents with their fck up tidis & their fck up mind. edgar may say "alot in miri, more in kuching etc etc." kekeke bayliaw bayliaw like GB junior saying "we will prevail".. kekeke....
regarding the fake carbon fibre black hood, after Initial-D panda hachiruku sports the black in the hood, more & more people think it is cool. Although it doesn't have any form of desire, balance, symmetry or aid in drifting, suddenly it becomes trendy... even when want to paint a replacement black bonnet to match the carbody the paint-job people will also recommend to leave it black & just coat with clear paint, might as well leave it black to save cost la. kekeke

iniD mana ada fake carbon fibre hud? besides the movie didn't make an impact, the anime did. Mr Keiichi Tsuchiya from KeiOffice did. Not gay chow.

I think tokyo drift also made impackt. (hitz fm mat rempit parody playing @ back ground) After iniD not much accidents, after tokoD more le!

Some of the things you mention are quite funny... however, i can't agree with you about the movie din make impact thing la. remember the kaichia dot com got people do their car like the panda 86, white FD & the black evo3? People din do that until jay chow star as takumi la. In singapore even got people who are not selling tauhu risk kena fine to put advertise "Fujiwara tauhu" on their car, I also see some van put this sticker in malaysia boleh, malay also start to learn "japanese". & why the japanese did the initD anime but didn't dare do the movie themselves? probably because they wanna see how people in SEA react to the movie la. Althought they are many genuine uo-liaw drift gurus in Jpn but they never appear cool in movies, can only act as stunt man in a hongkong movie cast with taiwan & hongkong pop star... Also i can't understand what people here hate about jay chow? because he don't have double-eyelid ka? brought up by a single mum ka? or sing those songs cant understand lyrics one unless have to concentrate to listen or buy the original album to see lyrics ka? or because his record sales better then wucongsian? i initialD-ly thought his songs sucks too. then someone hit me with the album to listen to it. the lyrics are actually quite well written, & mumbling songs to sound cool is not so easy too. no wonder those seasoned composers & singers starts to imitate his pop & way of singing. just sharing my thoughts la.
