But I think seriously better not take the 660 cc for I have a hunch that it will be underpower. Since the body will be bigger than a kancil.

to me.. ViVa resembles the lack of ideas Malaysian manufacturers have..

I think in the sence of designing new models, maybe Prodon does have the edge altough im their quality is very arguable if compared to Perodua.

Just a personal point of view.. WHy should you reintroduce a new model which resembles 80% of another model you have??

DO you see major car manufacturers doing it such as Toyota or BMW doing it??

Got a point there. but i think they are slowly improving.

kancil , kenari, kelisa all look similiar
but myvi release was a slight improvement over those.

Despite their same design and price tag, their cars are still the best seller in Malaysia.

the thing is viva is a total copy cat of daihatsu's new modal. while proton car like the latest one neo? savvy? Gen2? are based on the "Prodon edge". i really don't mind car resembling 100% of another modal because what's good having an ugly flawful unreliable "original" when you could get a tested & true rebadge car not for the sake of less patriotism but being more understanding on your wallet? ok, maybe you could get it cheap, but after a while, the main-tenance cost, the time wasted, the tulan-ness. . . which makes me wanna post picture of the tiara i saw in kuching still running although the bfuack left wheel wanna "come-out".

to owner of this tiara, i sincerely hope your car kena lottry so that you can put it out of it's misery. i really sympathise with you because we in the same boat & this same position defect also happen to my family car. we cannot drive it to proton, because it may "eject" any minute, anyway we went to proton work shop ask the mechanic come to house to repair. we buy spare [have to change both sides] part ourself, & the repair work money goes direct to the mechanic pocket, no need to let proton earn a sen more.

To Proton, that's 'family resemblance'.
