yeah.. i agree with you. the burger they serve is like those we can buy from mamak tepi jalan! totally different from the pictures they hang behind their counter. felt so cheated when i have to pay for it.

I heard that the broaster chicken is the original Sugarbun recipe.

Didn't have the time, else I'll buy a wing from both Sugarbun and Chiga.go7 and compare.

Don't bother try anything other than the chicken and fries.

It is the original Sugarbun recipe. The reason being that the equipment they use is from the Broaster Company in USA. Its a trademark and any restaurant using their equipment and recipe must use the name 'Broasted Chicken' on the menu.

Its like KFC - except with KFC you have to call your restaurant KFC and use the same design and menu items etc. With Broaster Chicken you can have whatever restaurant you want - you just have to call your chicken 'Broasted Chicken'.

Hence Sugarbun and Chicago7 both call their chicken that.

Tried this when i was back in Kuching earlier this year....

some of the menus are nice.... but some are errr.. hard to say.... minced carrot in a burger? anyone?

Mainly I'll still opt for their brostered chickens over KFC's. They're really juicy

The food there is really nice but the only thing is that they should improve in their service. It's kinda slow.
