Selamat pagi.

Thanks to those that have posted welcome messages. I live about 80Km North of Sydney in Gosford, the local area is refered to as the Central Coast. The area is a popular recreational spot for Sydney people with beautiful beaches, National Parks and saltwater lakes.

There are good surf beaches, and plenty of places to go diving and fishing.

Jumpa lagi.

(Hope my use of Bahasa Malaysia is correct)

Hi Ayjay and everyone else,

I too live near Gosford in NSW, Australia. My husband and I will be in Kuching on the 8th June, 2007 on a SE Asia cruise, on the Superstar Gemini. We are really looking forward to seeing Kuching, and expect that we might have to come back another time, this time for longer. I really like your catscity website, I have already recommended it to my sister who lives in Singapore.

Any suggestions with the best way to spend our day in Kuching would be appreciated. Even info about public transport and things like that would be good.

Ayjay, I look forward to hearing your thoughts about your trip.

Thanks.

Tracey.

As for public transport, the sarawak tourism recently resurrected something called "the city tram". which is meant for tourist. The tram plan was not operating for about a year. Now its back.

From what I know, the city tram routes are pretty much fixed and the schdule also. It stops at tourist attraction spots, waterfront, museum, etc etc ( will try to get more information on it).

Have you been to Kuching btw? 1st time?
Where will you be staying in Kuching?
