Bali-Kuching for RM29.90 for travel bewteen 2 May 2008-11 Jan 2009...on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday. And they're sharing the plane for the DPS-KK/DPS-KCH sector. Goes like this:

Monday: DPS-KK-DPS
Tuesday: DPS-KCH-DPS
Wednesday: DPS-KK-DPS
Thursday: DPS-KCH-DPS
Friday: DPS-KK-DPS
Saturday: DPS-KCH-DPS

So, its not as if Kuching has less a load factor, its more that they don't have many planes to spare for the flights, so they just share one plane for 2 sectors.

Low/non-peak season = less passengers, hence you can lower prices, driving impulse travellers insane.

Word of caution: if you plan to celebrate New Year's in Bali and stay in a major hotel, chances are you will need to attend the compulsory New Year's Eve party at the hotel premises and not be allowed to leave for a party venue outside.

I wanna go hang-gliding... someday. Wonder what's the best spot in the world to do that...

Try Rio, saw Sydney Bristow do it on Alias in Rio, and also on the Amazing Race.

I think New Zealand should have it. I'd be surprised if they didn't, they have all the adrenaline-junkie-type sports there.

Bali: worth a visit!

Your welcome, and the good stuff is always better when shared.

Don't worry about security, as everyone seems to be when you mention Indonesia. Bali is pretty safe, with more security when compared to entering the Le Meridien-Hilton Kuala Lumpur complex in a cab nowadays.

Flew to Frankfurt last week, 11 hours from KL. Frankfurt Main International airport is pretty run down. The city reminded me of Melbourne, grid-design. Weather was nice, around 16C. Mercedes everywhere as taxis. No one can speak good English, every sentence is accompanied by a "yah yah". "Achtung, vunderbar" that's all I heard. Stayed at the Kempinski Hotel which was ok.

Even like Malaysians, for some tourists that visit Malaysia, they also find the citizens here talking English ending with (lah, lo, meh and etc) too. Different country got their own speaking style I think.
