walau le, just now me driving on the left lane, there's 2 bicycles riding 1 in front and 1 behind on the road side, then when me approaching, this bicycle behind suddenly decided to swerve outwards like want to overtake the bicycle in front, maybe to talk to his friend to ride side by side, totally didn't look behind whether got cars or not.. -.-" luckily I move enough outwards over the dotted line, or else may side-swipe him liao...

normally when u guys overtake motorbikes or bicycles, do you guys makan the dotted line (like taking the centre of the 2 lanes) until u pass them? becos normally I don't makan into other's lanes, and will usually overtake motorbikes with my right wheels just about touching the dotted line when I'm on left lane. Cos my car is kinda low power n usually lots of fast cars on the right lane so I don't practice borrowing a bit of other's lane. If got motorbike pull stunts like above, I'm afraid I don't have enough space to avoid them..

or maybe it wud be more courteous if wan to overtake these bikes, is best to go right lane and give them the full left lane and treat them like a car?.. hmm.. so we can avoid them if they pull silly stunts or may fall down for some reason..

Hi mitosa, welcome to catscity. I bicycled in Kuching area before, being on the road is quite a very nervous experience. Need to be extra careful & never know what will happen, but luckily I can say most Kuching drivers are quite careful. May I know this incident happened along which road? If it's one of my road cycle friend I could alert them to be more careful. Cheers & drive safely.
