Oh my... *salivates* I like that acrylic casing! It reminds me of a website I saw on the internet, forgot the name already, but I can describe how the casing looks like. The owner made a casing out of acrylic and put in those silver shower tubes to hide wires. It looks so sweet! It's a close resemblance to sentinels in the matrix. Plus, he watercooled it as well.

webmaster, that's a huge fan you got there!

here's my spec (it's not much tho)

Pentium 4 2.4b Ghz
Asus P4PE motherboard
MSI FX5600 graphic card
1 GIG of DDR RAM
60gig HDD
Windows XP Pro
Black casing with two 12cm fans running at 7200rpm

Haha.. I know you're not joking about the planning part tho! If you want to build one entirely yourself, it's not going to be extremely difficult, but it is going to be pricey. Acrylic is NOT cheap, that's for a fact.

When you look at it, the set RM500+ doesn't look too expensive after all!

I ever planned all these when i was still in Kuching.
Since acrylic is expensive, move to another resource, Plastic Fibre Glass. Its almost the same as acrylic but cheaper and lighter.

You can get them for free actually if you're lucky. My frens told me that some factory or some hardware stores got big piece leftovers after customers measurement request.

So that might be one of the solution. Its easier to penetrate a hold using a power drill. Its lighter. But i wonder if it can stand the power supply's heat.

A solution to that, DO NOT mount the motherboard and also the power supply on the surface. Leave a space of a cm.

If all this doesn't work..lets forget the project and back to flintcomp
ahahhah

*LOL* If you've seen techtv, channel 13 on astro - next time the camera pans to Roger Chang, take a look behind him, on a monitor. You'll see some movement, water, fish... rocks... but that's no screensaver! That's a real aquarium!

That'll be nice, taking out an old monitor and placing an aquarium in there. Also, someone once told me there's a house in kuching with two monitors mounted on both ends of the gate pillars. Computer nuts, literally, don't you think?
