SLR, or single-lens-reflex
A user looking through the viewfinder on this type of camera actually looks through the picture-taking lens, thanks to a series of mirrors and prisms within the camera. This is a very improved type of viewfinder, because what you see is what is in the actual picture frame. (Glossary from Canon Website)

D stands for Digital Single-Lens-Reflex

Would love to own one, but at the moment, whenever I go out phototaking, it is usually a tour trip, something like outings and etc, so not very convenient to carry the bulks around when you are supposed to be 'playing' and having fun. I will take that as a hobby and a past time practise, which will not come often, given the busy life I am experiencing right now I think I will probably get one in the next few years, but at the moment, wish to get hold of one and try them out, anyone care to borrow one to me ?
