I had it on for about 72 hours non-stop when I was rushing through the final documentation/coding for my degree project last time.

Laptop. but they tend to get heat up easily in Malaysia or singapore. need aircone room :P
have anyone try to serve net by PDA or WIFI? it is really cool man. I am trying to get skype into my PDA phone so that can talk thru WIFI lan for free.

But they are generally slower with inconsistent connection which is annoying.

I had my previous desktop running for 4 months, no shiet, but with air conditioned room on and off, but it was running on AMD, when I upgraded the processor, the old one was partially melted on the surface , another month or so it would end up in fire.

Yes, I had my laptop running for a few days here with no problems, as long as I dont do it during summer it is alright.
