Just heard a shocking news: Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin has died after being attacked by a stingray in Australia.

More info: www.news.com.au

There's a streaming video about his death in this website too.

I always admired he and his wife's passion in wildlife, especially snakes. I won't have the chance to see him face to face in Australia Zoo or anywhere else.

A very sad news indeed, not only a great loss to the Australian, but a loss to the entire world as well.

I've always enjoyed all his documentaries.

Funny how he survived the deadliest crocs and snakes, big and small, tame and dangerous, but a normal Stingray killed him. It was believed the Stingray felt threatened as he was swimming too close to it, and the cameraman was in its way, panicked, turned, and stab its barb on Steve's heart and punch a hole in it.

How sad, leaving behind beautiful wife and children. What a loss.

He really is a brave guy but who would have thought that he'd be killed a stingray and it seems like a painful death too, he is a great guy, total croc and animal lover. Done so much educating people.
Indeed what sunfire said is true. It is a great lost for the Australians as well as the World.

Hey Ed, its also the 4th of September too. Strange huh, and according to CNN, it's the most unlucky way to die too.
