Do you have any ideas where is the best place to buy USD notes at lowest rate in Kuching? Thanks.

Probably the banks are your best bet mate.

Usually when you buy, most rates are standard throughout, the difference is the selling rates

This answer is best given by someone from Kuching I think. This website represent Kuching, false information can be embarrassing.

I am not targeting anyone, just a positive comment.

The best information is from someone's family who owns large portion of shares in one of the bank A family line which worked in the bank.

The most embarrasing is to post something you have no idea about, but cannot contribute to anything.

I think the topic starter knows where to get foreign currencies, but he wants to know who can offer him the lowest rates.

There is one money changer at Everrise Padungan, just next to the main entrance. Not far from SOHO.

Not sure if that's the best rate.

At least this information comes from someone who has been there to change money. Not from someone who is not even in Kuching.

Another one is Mohammad Yahya and Sons located at underground Sarawak Plaza, near Hartz Chicken.

That's the most frequent place that I went to last time.

For this matter, you will need to do the survey on your own. the rates are consistently changing.

if you're in KL, then I know where you can get a very good rate.
but for Kuching, the offer is always lousy.

You can do your survey at banks, padungan everise, ground floor of sarawak plaza

As for today, the rate is
1.00 USD = 3.64682 MYR

If you can find anything closest to that will be beneficial for you.
