Does anyone know of more pet shops other than one in 3rd Mile and the one in BDC? I'm looking for gerbils. If you're a private breeder, post here with pictures of young ones... I want to keep some of them. Probably 3 males, or 2 females.

Thanks!

Sekama... good, I'll check that one out. There's only three? Kinda abysmal.

Well, that's the first time I've heard they don't do well in our weather. Other choices would be hamsters or mice. Common Syrian hamster can only be kept alone, not in groups, and mice are, I heard, not as intelligent as gerbils.

I haven't really made up my mind, so I might end up with other species of hamsters which can be kept together in same-sex pairs.

Thanks for the help, webmaster.

Wah! So many posts since the last time I checked. I'm so happy to find out that many people in Kuching are hamster enthusiasts! The thing is, my parents don't allow hamsters in the house (even though they did in the past) cause they say they carry SARS (?!). That bummed me out, cause I was planning to have a couple of Russian Dwarf Hamsters, either Campbells or Winter-white is fine... but now cannot.

I used to own a couple of Syrian hamsters then I learnt the hard way two cannot be kept together in the same cage. *oops*

Gathering?! When? Where? Sorry, I didn't check the gathering thread.... it's too long! Haha... Got summary?

Anyway, if you still got ideas where to find healthy young russian dwarves, let me know. If it's a private breeder, even better. I'll need this knowledge in near future.
