okay, its almost end of the year and I am doing a review/survey of the site's users.

As the usual questions.

- what would you like to see in this site?
- how you think I can improve the site in anyway?

I welcome all suggestions and constructive comments.

change a new banner. The current ones are awful (honestly). I think the website theme can be improved as well. Otherwise it is all good with the newly designed forum arrangements.

Add "WORLD" to main menu for anything/everything happening outside Malaysia.

Usually I just go "Home" to check out how is the trend & current discussion back home & the matchat the people say at the "Shout" box. & upcoming events & Occasionally some great pictures by our own catscity photographer.
some say:
1) IF it ain't broken, don't fix it. I think the top right picture is acceptable. webbie should decide whether he wants to change it or not because he is master of the catscity universe.
2) Keep it as simple as possible, like the Ipod interface, people might be so taken into the multifunctional super many buttons "other brand" MP3 players (like Zune), but at the end of the day, user-friendly & ease to use will triumph. So far this site is easy to use.

As far as my experience goes, this site is not easy to use nor navigate.

Like how it was said before, somehow somewhere along the tag where I cannot find it now, it says "more than just a site", yes, more than just a complicated site.

If you haven't notice, this site + advertisement + reviews + blogs + news + photography + events + travel registry + classified + forum = not very user friendly.

Not very user friendly as in I think the forum is over-manipulating the purpose of this site, which was supposed to be set as a travel and information registry for Kuching.

We have too much information here and it is so hard to compressed and comprehend the quality out of it. We have information from the website itself, then we have MORE information from the forum, but it never make it into the website and were only discussed in the forum section.

I think forum is a powerful tools, and all information from this website, should be directly linked to the discussion from the forum. I know to the point that webmaster would like the information being posted up independently from the forum so that there is no discussion about it (just pure information) of the fear that people like me, who always criticise and setting firm opinions, I totally understand the reason though.

I agree with u edgar,

but due to lack of man power and this site is non-profit.
well nothing much i can do to change it. I won't invest much time and $$$ to make further changes to the structure. Unless I am free to do so and unless someone is willing to invest then I will be able to hire some ppl to do it.
