you can drop by sspca and have a look. sometimes they have really gorgeous ones with puppy eyes that you'll know u wanna take home straight away(=

they do require some registration thingy though, and there's a process u have to go thru before u can bring the doggy back but its quite simple.

a friend of mine has got rotweiller pups but im not sure if its still with him. will let u know soon!

does it require any payment for pet adoption?
I don't mind anything below RM80.00

The sspca ought to do something like what they have in KL.
like this http://www.spca.org.my/

you can view pets online and adopt them as you wish.

They ought to learn how to use pc and internet !

I imagine the pc and internet may be god send for us, but just imagine you've never seen the dog, the dog never seen you - how can you know if you 'ngam' with the dog or not? Or maybe the dog is normally quiet but gets garang with you for some odd reason.

Chemistry with dog is important. Even with pc and internet I will still go and see the dog personally and get to know their personalities. ;)

Sorry ah... kaypo add my two cents. :P

well what i am looking for is a Puppy.
Doesn't matter on the chemistry part.

A puppy is friendly to anyone. once you bring a puppy home and it will see you as a friend and when it gets older it may see you as a master and a friend.

but as for Rottweiler. it could be different. Rottweiler may not have good memory. Its strong and tought but the mind is not very good. (this is why they never use rottweiler in police cases).
Well would be very good as a guard though. Will rip off intruder's head off.

Thats my experience la.

My aunt last time owned... get this: a normal black dog, a Rottweiler and... *drumroll* St Bernard!

That dog is huge!!

:) Yeah... I get what you're saying about the chemistry part - just referring to the one about internet and grown dogs.

Looking for mixed breed or pure?

Hmmm rottweiler would be my last choice of "garang dogs" options. Lol St Bernard. *hug*hug*.

Other than that, German Sherpard, Great Dane, Labrador, Golden Retriever and Boxer would be a good idea. I would love to have the pure breed of German Sherpard. The all black big hairy garang looking one.

I really "lakia kau". local breed dog. Not looking for cute cute cuddly doggies. I want dogs that can guard.

My priority starts from Pure Breed German Sherpard, German Sherpard, Boxer, Labrador, Golden Retriever, Great Dane and will consider the rest if there is any offer.

Ever since my poor 14 year old German Sherpard died last September, my house kenak masuk pencuri 3 times. Last night was the 3rd. Happened at 3am.

Yikes, 3 times?? Keep a pet dragon

Having a St Bernard at home would be really cool. hehe. I'm not sure if its below RM80 but i can find out tomorrow.

I think most people with pups like that usually sell them. Unless u're real lucky... hehe

I got several offers at the moment. mostly free.

- one lakia kao. (confirm ada tapi puppy still drinking milk)
- one German Sherpard (unconfirmed)
- one Rottweiler (more than 6 months old)

I am still open for more options. I am very picky. *grin*

If you want guard dog, the best choice would be the German Sherpad. They sure are the most scared dog on the list and one of the most high maintanence dog.

But I love their look, as if they are really to launch and react to your command, especially their squatty rear thigh and arse.
