hmm..
i used to have network problem..

here's one
one 4 port router connect to a modem and 4 computers

3 comp running Window XP
1 comp running Window ME chinese

All comp sucessfully connected to the LAN but the comp with ME chinese cannot.

Is there anyway to handle this?

what type of ip assignment you use static or DHCP??
can the ME machine ping the rest of the com??

Oh ya.. i forgot. In the end we did connect all comps to the LAN. Just that the Chinese ME comp cannot see the share files in the LAN.

oo ic can work liao lah.
about the sharing problem.
Can the Xp com see the share from the ME com? is the file and print sharing option on on the ME machine?
here is something you can try. Try access share from the ME com using this method "\\computername\share name".
another thing is check if your XP share and NTFS permission is set correctly.
