New restaurant with no catering experience, then expect these sorts of problems.

Not a problem of the restaurant itself, the problem is with the chef himself. Note that chef and cook are two different individuals and two different job skills.

A chef is someone who prepares the food. A cook is someone who actually cooks the food only and has got no connection in the preparation of food.

Often, delays or mismanagement of food is the problems with the chef. But soon, time will teach them to be more efficient.

But at RM40 per person, is overly-priced. Perhaps you guys are paying for the settings and the environment of the place, not the food in particular.

Someone please post up some photos?

wa lo, i drove by the place there little bit after F&N factory, i ask what is it (i thought is some hokchew people house), people say maybe a factory, then i saw the "chiopai" Banquet . . . the place see from the road really very takong la... looks like a mini airport control tower (again). :D

Anyone knows that whether 3rd exhange (the banquet) available for rent for the small product training session.

the training pax is only about 10pax and time is from 9am to 1pm.
we just need a small part of its restaurant.

Why don't you go ask the restaurant...? I'm sure they will know. Since they like, own it and stuff.

yes they do have VIP room to cater for smaller crowd, most probably on 1st floor of the big hall. But I don't know whether they cater for non-dining event like yours o not...

yeah, better go ask.
