Perodua Malaysia to launch new model 10 may 2007

Today on TV3, they announced it..new model with international brand new name..maybe VIVA..

what do u think..viva forever!!!

I think we've seen this before, supposedly the replacement to Kelisa or Kenari. It is actually a Daihatsu Charade under the skin, well, basically, everything, less the badge.

and looks different from the Daihatsu model, this is a facelited version, different nose and slightly different headlights. The original Daihatsu looked aweful.

I've heard that it's a replacement for both the Kelisa and the Kancil. Personally I think makes sense because both models are too similar to be selling side by side.

With the exception of the Satria, anyone else ever realise that national car manufacturers (all two of them) never carries old model names over for new products? Everything is just 'replacing' the current ones.
