the technology is similar to the one that tom cruise used in Minority Report (2002) directed by Steven Spielberg..i like it very well...

ya..ohh,i'm in love with that tech, wanna play aslo with my fingers..'ada' style -lah..
now its price around USD5,000-10,000 available end of the year(US market)..and microsoft

That is totally rad. Its hassle free. No cables ... this or that nada... so cool.

And i heard from the link u posted we can even put in our TV room and turn it into a tv control. Hey no batteries. And when I get bored I can just do my stuffs on the coffee table, somemore multi-tasking... I luv it!

I've read that the M$ Surface doesn't use a touch screen, but "a projector and a set of infrared cameras that sense the positioning of objects and direct manipulation occurring on top of its base."

I know it's a prototype, but that doesn't seem the least bit elegant solution, does it? What if you want to move your Surface?

It looks impressive, but I'm real skeptical for the reason that this is the same company that bought us the ever-confusing and frustrating Vista.
