Ok jobs jobs...... i hate working in Malaysia. lol

Gaji terlalu rendah esp. Kuching... boleh mereka tolong kita ka??

thanks for your understanding.

Speaking of jobs, i read borneo post jobs column, i notice that some company offer attractive salary. some like 2000-3000 ?
It does look like salary rate in Kuching had increase?

in Kuching, your boss will most likely retain your current salary amount.. you won't get a raise and he will get more profit. Once you try to resign and he does the sweet talk raise you abit of gaji trying to bribe you to stay.

As what i learned in my management course. Boss will always do their best to retain employees. in bigger corporate company, each time a employee leaves, the company will need to spend extra $$$ to find new replacement.

- $$$ to find new employee (through agency, outsourcing, advertising)
- New employee being new and unproductive. (company will slow down)
- $$$ to send employee for training etc etc.

So there you can see, if you're working for 2 or more years in a company with good performance. Your boss will retain you at all cost.

Therefore, if your boss do not raise your gaji like you think he should, go find another job with better offer. Someone with less experience will take your place and the cycle repeats.

I worked in an advertising firm (very small company) 4 about 1.5 years & never pun got any raise on the day / after i tender my letter. within that month, he kept on mentioning and persuade me 2 stay. but never mentioned about raise....now i end myself in sg & earn 40% more of my previous work in kch..

My friend a Degree holder is Business and Adminstration is getting paid at RM 600 only without allowance. No increment was given when she pass her probation.

Then she jump to another company who is offering her RM800 without allowance.

This is life in kuching.
