I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this deal at dealsdirect.com.au, an Australian online shopping company that offers heavily discounted price to people who purchase electronically.

It was just past midnight Australian time, and I was still in Malaysia then, when the 'Today's deal' came up. A BENQ 22" LCD monitor for a freaking ridiculous deal of only AUD$149 + AUD$10 delivery fees.

Without a second thought, I clicked the purchase button and went straight ahead with the payment. I bought only one, because that was the first time I purchase from them, so, assuming this would create a mutual trust between me and this company in the future if the deal went through.

So few seconds later, they send this tax invoice via email to me:

I still couldn't believe my eyes that they were really selling at AUD$150, as the retail recommended price (rrp) is well over AUD$500, and the cheapest you can find in the internet like ebay are still well over AUD$300+

So item was paid, and I came back to Australia few days later, and yesterday, I went to my local post office to check for my PO Box and there it was, ready to be collected at the counter.

And here it is sitting right beside my 15" laptop, compare the size... awesome.

So for AUD$150 , equivalent to RM450, can you possibly find any better deal elsewhere?

The sales only lasted for less than 15 minutes before it was sold out and out of stock! I bet you, some businessmen must have grabbed like 10-20 units at once.

I regretted for not doing so, because I could easily re-sell at AUD$300 and people will still buy from me.

Certainly the best deal I have ever had so far! And the LCD rocks!

Some Chinese brand like Chimei is still selling for more than AUD$300+ lol. At least BENQ is better established and has international warranty.

Come on, dealsdirect only deals with Australia.

It came sealed, in the original box.

I thought it could be a refurbished, because sometimes they do sell them as refurbished unit, but no, it's all brand new.

It's either they listed up the wrong price or they simply want to offer a steal deal.

I don't know, but what I know is, the deal was closed in less than 15 mins, so either they made a mistake in the pricing, or people 'sapu' everything.
