Kuching roads are always bumpy and full of holes, even new roads. Something needs to be done there.

Our road constructions really got problem lar, cannot be new roads oso bumpy, pot-hole-ful and wavy wut...

Then again, to build flyovers are not magic remedy. We need budget (gee... that's a big problem), space and lotsa patience.

Kuching roads are at both ends of the spectrum. Some roads are beyond fantastic, some are atrocious.

I just came back from a trip to Serian and I can tell you that the Kuching-Serian Highway is fantastic, well maintained. The Mile 5-6 stretch is bad but they are upgrading and expanding the road, making it better, so just a minor hiccup. The Mile 14-16 stretch is missing. Great 4 lane highway, bad dual lane carriageway, great 4 lane highway again.

Roads in the BDC-Tabuan-Green Heights residential area is quite good. The only problem we face now is lighting. Some stretches are well lit, some aren't, and some signposts, especially along the Simpang Tiga Flyover, is underlit. I recall it being well lit last I came back.

I notice some street signs at the Hui Sing roundabout are missing.

*sigh.. Times are hard yah, but do people really need to resort to stealing whatever metal pieces that they can find?? -__-;

I am just exaggerating, on the intentions to sum out how bad Sibu roads condition are compared to the major city/town in the states. Of course, disregarding the unpaved roads to rural areas.
