I'm fine with the vocab.. it's the grammar that's killing me! Honestly, Japanese nowadays don't speak or write proper grammar anyway (other than for official purposes) so JLPT syllabus is actually quite useless in social situations. It's purely academic. You need some linguistic understanding equivalent to JLPT 2 in order to enrol in Japanese uni (if you don't want to go through their language prep / foundation course).

Err.. all?

If you're studying for JLPT, you need to know all your kana and at least 100 kanji to tackle the elementary level (Level 4)

No romaji.

Hello, everyone! I am teaching Japanese Language at Lorong1V, Foochow Rd No,1 since 2010. I been to Japan for 6 Years, graduated from MIYAGI UNIVERSITY, Sendai City, and had teaching experience in Taiwan for 2 years.Now, teaching in Inti and Lodge as well.
