If you were to compile a soundtrack of your life so far, what are the songs that you will put in? It can be songs that hold special meanings to you or describe special events in your life. It can also be your ALL-TIME fave songs that will always be a part of who you are. It can also be actual songs or just instrumental pieces or mixture of both.

Let’s standardize it to a 10-song compilation ok. Anything extra should be “bonus tracks”.

My soundtrack (title / artiste), in no particular order:

Lost Without You / Delta Goodrem
TWICE / Luna Sea
Solitude / JILS
Winterborn / The Crüxshadows
Nocturne / Kim YunA
Stanna Hos Mig / Kent
Refrain / Elldorado
Neo Geureol DdaeMyeon / Eve
Carnival / Tori Amos
Mind Forest / Gackt

Bonus track - The Truth Beneath the Rose / Within Temptation (2007)

Ooh yeah X-JAPAN!! They r0x0rz! *hearts* Endless Rain and Silent Jealousy.

About my list..? Err..

JILS was a long-standing (since 1998) J-indie rock band that just disbanded last year. Their songs are mostly rock ballads.

The Crüxshadows is a goth industrial band. Not everyone’s cup of tea unless you’re into the genre.

Kim YunA is the lead vocalist of Korean rock band, Jaurim. She does solo as well but her solo project is mostly ballads.

Kent is a Swedish rock band. Stanna Hos Mig means ‘Stay with Me’.

Elldorado was a Visual Kei band. Disbanded as usual.

Eve is a long-standing Korean rock band with 8 albums to-date. This song is off their indie 1st album. Translates as ‘Whenever you feel..”.

Within Temptation should be quite well known.. gothic metal band with female vocalist.

This is going to be fun! Mine, in random order:

Deepest Blue | Give It Away
Dirty Vegas | Days Go By
Emmanuel | Corazon de Melao
Afropeans ft Inaya Day | Better Things
E.S. Posthumus | Pompeii
Alex Gaudino | Destination Calabria
Axwell ft Steve Edwards | Watch The Sunrise
David Guetta vs The Egg | Love Don't Let Me Go
Michael Buble | Come Fly With Me
Mark Knight | Insatiable

Notice how it is nearly dominated by House music...with a bonus track from...Nina Simone | Feeling Good

Love the thread, good opportunity to find out new song as well. Well, I have gone soft :p, those rock/alternatives/punk were what I was listening during my teen years. Here is what I listen to now, like Mocha, they're all random, I will add more if I can remember:

James Blunt (Back to Bedlam):
- No Bravery
- Three Wise Men

James Blunt (All The Lost Souls):
- 1973
- Give Me Some Love

Tina Arena (Songs of Love & Loss): She's not my favourite singer, but in this new album, she sings all the classic songs, I love it):
- The Look of Love
- The Man With The Child In His Eyes
- Do You Know Where Are You Going To
- Everybody Hurts

Timbaland (Shock Value) :
- Give It To Me
- The Way I Are
- Apologise (feat. One Republic)

Norah Jones :
- Come Away With Me
- Don't Know Why
- Sunrise
- Thinking About You
- Turn Me On

Michael Buble :
- Come Fly With Me
- Everything
- Home
- Quando Quando Quando

Bobby Flynn (He's one of the Australian Idol 2006 Contestant, he's got good song choices sang in his version, but it's hard to locate the original singer)
- The Boy Had Trouble
- Werewolves of London
- When The War is Over
- Super Freak

Natalie Gauci (The Winner's Journey) : -She's the Australian Idol 2007 Winner
- Here I Am
- Man In The Mirror
- Umbrella
- Apologize
- Boys In Town
- Crazy
- Running Up That Hill
- Nobody Knows
- (Baby I've Got You) On My Mind

I think I'd listed most songs from her album, oh well, I like her, I think she's good.

Dido (Life For Rent):
- White Flag
- Life For Rent
- Don't Leave Home
- Do You Have A Little Time

Various Artist:
- Air Supply | Here I Am
- Barry Manilow | Somewhere Down The Road
- Cold Chiser | When The War is Over
- Cosima De Vito | When The War is Over
- Lionel Richie | Three Times a Lady
- Prince | Nothing Compares 2 U
- Stereophonics | Nothing Compares 2 U

That's all for now :p , you may noticed I had the same songs listed twice or more, but they are off different artist, and were sung in different arrangements, which is good.

Aiyo, dude........ Thanks for sharing what you 'listen to now' but I was asking for a 10-track compilation that describe you or your life..

Oops.. didn't notice your reply earlier. Blame it on Edgar for his long list, thus obscuring yours.

Honestly.. I'm not into House music.. I think the only stuff I heard were from Way Out West and Groove Armada. But.. aren't they more like trance?
