I heard there is a new Malay restaurant set in a old Malay House directly across the river on Waterfront - opposite Holiday Inn / Khatulistiwa.

I also heard its called something like 'Burok House'. Anyone know anything about this? I'd like to give it a try .

if the place ur talking abuot is the one im thinking about....

..then..

malays only ka? I been there on many occasions with my non-malay friends ley. they used to have live-band performances, not sure if they still have it, have not been there in over a year

As for directions there are few ways to reach the round about that leads to the kampung. Either from DUN(existing), or straight past MASJA, or from TOLL. There is a 4 exit round about, and one of the exits leads to the kampung, drive straight to the water front, and take a right till the end.

thanks for the directions gerald. Just to confirm, if I'm coming from Petra Jaya and reach the roundabout, the High Court would be at 9 o'clock, DUN at 12 o'clock, so I take the exit at 3 o'clock, go straight to 'water front' and turn right till end?

Nathan

I think its called kampung boyan.. to the left its Kampung Gersik. I think easier to describe from TOLL.

Once you cross the toll from Pending Industrial Estate, drive all the way till u reach a round about. Enter it and take the 1st exit. 2nd exit will take you to Masja / DUN roundabout.

I have not been there for a long time. hehe Maybe should drop by and have a looks around too.
