1) Pump petrol in the morning or at night (cooler temperature)
2) Don't drive faster than 80 km/hr

welcome back maybeline, when pump petrol, do it slowly. don't press hard like there's no time. :D
they say can extract 20% more , which is a bit exagerated.

Drive at a constant speed, I've noticed that when I drive a constant 70km-80km/h, it tends to last for longer.

And don't change gears often, and don't accelerate like there's no tomorrow. It'll kill your tires and burn a lot initially.

Do not pump till the tank is too full because the pump has a sensor that triggers the secondary tube in the pump's nozzle(it redirects the fuel back to the station's tanker).

Notice that each time your tank is getting full, the pump will automatically stops itself? that is the sensor's job... you will not know what is happening because the mouth of the nozzle is in the tank.

If you want to do so(pump full tank), hold the nozzle till you can see it's end and pump SLOWLY till the tank is full.

Inflate tires a couple psi more than recommended will reduce vehicle drag and give you a few more kms.

Avoid living along a street with a long steep climb at 45 deg and throw out anything & everything that's not essential from the car.

Keep tank no less than 1/2 full to reduce weight further. And finally, ask your obese relative /friend to take the bus instead!
