Well, the Kuching fest is full of Kuching people there, setting up stalls and performing, right? A bit sad to say, Kuching people are conventional. They don't really think of something new, and even if they do, no one's crazy enough to do it. For example, a whole clearing full of caricature artists, pottery class, bookbinding class, calligraphy demonstration (not the chinese type only!), MIMES (those are cool, but sometimes they're annoying), maybe a LAN party under the stars and moon (I know there's a risk of rain, so under a tent lor), etc.

A fest is an idea where all sorts of things come together. Maybe I'm expecting too much from Kuching fest... but to have a lot of people say it's the same year after year? That's even worse... but really, there's nothing to see there.

i am not looking forward to it this year like everyother year.
I only go once.. last year.

Every year the place gets more crowded and it made the location become less suitable. Maybe should change to somewhere far and spacious like MJC.. or somewhere..

I know last year... u can't find parking lots for sure.
ehhehe have to park somewhere far.
:hit:

They should do like Oktoberfest in Munich. Beer, beer, beer and more beer!

Never been to Kuchingfest, don't feel like going, nothing much to see anyway. Besides, no teman to go with me.

ahahaha... i'm sure going heheheh... me and my family always regular customer there, I hope it'll not move to MJC and so on that's way too far and it's aim to attract tourist and MJC is too far for them, the current place is quite accessible to many except those staying far away, since i stay just nearby hahahha... nothing to do then i'll go there to walk and eat, every year is the same, no doubts. Usually we'll stop by there in the evening, if not 1,3,5,7 then it's 2,4,6, ahhhaha... every alternate day. So I always got there more than 10 times every year ;p
Hope they'll be something new but again Kuching ppl is not crazy lar.
