I think we're all a bit color-biased. If those are not Nigerians, but the Mainland Chinese, would we react in the same way? If you look at it from a social point of view, both are foreigners with rather notorious reputations.

Oh, okay, I'll be gone before then. Oh well...unless I 'call in sick' and extend my stay. Supposed to be there on 28th Nov, gone by the 4th but I'll see what I can do. Might catch a 'cold,' maybe a 'flu' or better yet, 'upset stomach.' Yeah, that might work.

Haha~ wouldn't they ask you why you need more than 3 days to recuperate? xP

I'll think of something. As long as I still do my work in 'bed' or in the 'hospital' or at least be within reach of the office, they wouldn't mind. Just as long as they don't read this forum and point avatars to actual people, then I'm safe.

And yes, we all have this preconception of what people are like; stereotyping if you will. It is bad though, but it takes a while to remove from our system. Consider this: while we may feel like they are foreigners here, how do you think people in other countries feel like if you don't assimilate properly and 'stick in clumps'?

However, not to offend, the mainland Chinese do have a notorious reputation in a number of countries, sometimes well deserved. They aren't too fond in Africa or the Middle East, seen as taking away resources without giving anything back.

Speaking of back, let's get back on to topic of Outstation Kuching Events.
