Where can I buy large amount of souvenirs (specifically fridge magnets or keychains) for a cheap rate?

Stuff like that usually not cheap per item especially at those shops targeting tourists... I'm wondering whether I can get direct from the manufacturer... but who/where/how?

Any other small souvenirs that represents Kuching..?

Must not be fragile or perishable. And most importantly, must not be bulky and obvious.

I need only about 30 pieces to bring overseas.

Ideas?

You can get pottery at wholesale prices; the ones with 'Sarawak' and native motives etched on them. Or you can get those local beaded necklaces, Tun Jugah Foundation should be able to help you get it in bulk, sourced locally; or at least point you in the right direction.

Fridge magnets and key chains: no idea. RM10 for a whole packet of 5 I think, that's the price along Main Bazaar for the 'whistle' key chains.

No pottery. Will be a hassle. Either flat or soft stuff. :X

Postcards or prints? There are quite a few nice antique looking postcards in the Main Bazaar; those are unique. Ramsay Ong has a nice collection of small prints in his gallery. They're extremely flat.
