I was watching euromaxx on DW-TV the other day; a family rectified the problem of no snow by buying a snow machine. If Dubai can have a skiing facility in an otherwise arid climate, surely we can too? Though that would be as silly as removing the heat from sand on the beach.

Though, for Kuching, our 'snow' is 'rain.' Same structure, same components, same 'season,' wrong temperature.

p.s. the microwave cake mix at Ta Kiong works wonders. Tastes decent, but for a 5 minute prep time and 5-10 minute 'bake' in the microwave oven time, it's a blessing. Beware though, you might end up eating the whole cake all by yourself.
