Help me i am in delay ma .i just want to start in SLR camera user so anyone that can suggest me a beginner SLR camera i have one here The panasonic Lumix G1 U guys tell me can or not ?


And my other choice is Sony SLR ..Please choose for me ....!!!! my budget is RM2+++

Consider D60 Nikon!
Price wise is still affordable. :)

Get the D40 if the megapixels doesn't matter that much to you.

I wouldn't bother with D60 and D80. If I were to step up higher than D40, I will jump straight into D90.

But that's just me, I am a Canon man. I believe there are a lot of Nikon users in this forum and a couple of them have D40s I believe.

if ur budget is 2k++ den, why don't u take Alpha 200W. Have awarded with "TIPA best D-SLR Entry level". 2kit lens. Quite enuf already for beginner.

For some reason Sony Alpha D-SLR is popular in Malaysia, for the price, I am not surprised.

But for future's sake, if you think you may want to develop your passion in professional photography, the Sony may become inadequate.

Not because of the camera, but because the list of lenses to choose from.
