Lolzzz... this remind me the first time when i ate wantan mee in K.L, i almost cried out, cause i never understand how come there are something "terrible" like this, since i am always the kolo mee lover.

But for this few years, i just persuade myself that, those "blacky mee" is belongs to another planet's food, strange, once i think that way, it is not that "terrible" anyway.

Guan...

Kekekekeke... i am telling the truth mah...

If they really come to me, then i will buy them kolo mee lor, let them feel shy shy and teach them what is the real "noodle" in this world.

They are really terrible lar... first, talking about the noodles they use, i believed the noodle has put too much of "gi zhui", so thats why it is not as crunchy as local kolo mee. Secondly, they are not using pork oil, most are vegetable oil. Third, the black sauce they use is just the normal sauce bought from Supermarket, while the hong kong style, they will mixed the black sauce with their own spice and ingredient to make it taste "special"

Fourth, this is what i cant forgive them until now, while they cook the noodle, they mostly skip the stage to immerge the noodle in cold water for couple second (guey leng zhui), thats why the noodles looks and tasted funny.

Come come come... no offenced, those who from KL if do have chance to come to Kuching, let me cook the kolo mee for them... kekekekeke...

true true...
what's "gi zhui"? i think the mee there harder than our mee...
not pork oil, not wangi lor...
yalor...should put in cold water for a while to wash away the strange smell and taste and make it more Q...
kolo mee sure taste a lot better to me...:)

Aikkkssss... i oso dunno how to say "gi zhui" in English, but it sounded as "Jian Shui" or "Peng Sha" in mandarin.
