I'm a student from England visiting Kuching for 6 weeks from the beginning of June. I am a keen runner. I do 400m and 400m hurdles. I was wondering what athletics facilities there are that I could use while I was here and if there were any clubs I could go to? Will there be any competitions I could race in?

Unfortunately, sports is something that is quite under developed here. you can refer to the kuching south city council to use the running tracks.

website: http://www.mbks.gov.my/facilities.asp

Other than that,t here are no public tracks that you can use. there are no clubs that has a track facility either as far as I know.

hope it helps.

welcome badger86, you could try jungle tracking at Mt Santubong or jogging at Reservoir Park or Stutong Park. Cheers mate.
