Here is Ayam Penyet. I just discovered about it recently. I don't know if its a new dish but one thing I found out from tourist, its a local Kuching / Sarawak delicacy which is not found in other states.

I don't know whats unique about it. I tried it. It just seems quite normal to me. like Nasi Lemak special. just that the chicken and the sambal taste differently.

Anyone know more about it?

where was this?

haha chicken meat portion is not generous enough and from the above, it looks like you need two plates to fill up your stomach.

Well, if you ever tried out a coffee shop stall somewhere @ third mile dongguan there.. the stall selling 'crispy sweet chicken rice' which is tasty & affordable.

Ayam penyet is an Indonesian dish. There's a franchise restaurant called Ayam Penyet Ria, with a few outlets in S'pore and one at Sunway too. Nothing new..
