W7 is the best Window software that Microsoft had ever put out. Vista is a disaster!

You could just get a retail version of W7 and use it on a few computers.

Or if you want to be like Darth Vader and like to be on a dark side, there are plenty of hacks to get W7 working. There is one update you must not do, otherwise you get your W7 rojak.

I recommend this one: http://www.rlslog.net/microsoft-windo ... ition-x64-working-zwtiso/

I think it's just "ICT sale", not PC fair. Yup, i'm waiting for them to throw prices.

Yea, i'm heading to Penang's Pikom PC Fair this weekend.
Hopefully they can give me a good price.
What's the difference with W.7 Home Premium and Ultimate, other than the price.
@Chong, thanks for the help, but i prefer license for my laptop.
Desktop i'm fine with pirated.

@Chong, regarding to the business enterprize version, what would you recommend to go for it? Home premium? Ultimate? or business enterprize?
I use my laptop mostly on surfing internet, songs, movies and assignments only. well, student ma.

For students, home premium is fine.

The only diff I see with those version is that if you want to use hosting Remote Desktop and IIS for Web hosting, then use Professional. Ultimate has this special thing where you can encrypt your hard drive if it get stolen.

But even with home you can use logmein software to remote to your PC/laptop and use Apache for web hosting. So all is not lost if you use Home Premium.

No you cannot do that. Vista is for Vista only.

But W7 licence can be used for x64 or x84.

Have you buy from lelong? I see a few W7 for sale. Is it cheaper?
