Bought a Samsung S8500 (Wave ) in August, nice phone but just cannot get used to touchscreen keyboard with my 'ageing' fingers and planning to change it for something still maybe touchscreen but manual qwerty keyboard. Advice/recommendations needed from all our knowledgeable mobile users please.

Thanks for the advice on where to sell it, but not interested in using Mudah or Lelong, will probably do trade in. Question really is what phone to go for next time.

you can opt for Blackberry Chap. Touchscreen isn't your thing I guess. There's a qwerty keyboard is available with a jog sense @ the middle

You can check out those from Sony Ecrisson, Motorola and LG as they offer a few qwerty-touchscreen functions you can choose using keypad or their touchscreen. Lifespan of such last about 3 yrs when sliding will age fast
If you're tired of tapping screen, battery failure and still like old style number keypad. Nokia still has lots of them and even bigger keys for old people with giant fingers in store to grab in Kuching. Otherwise Blackberry is another one for practical qwerty phone.

I am going to wait until next year for the Windows 7 mobile phone.

I am using the HTC Touch Pro 2 now.

I put three GPS program on my phone. TomTom7, iGo8 and Garmin XT. Go download it off torrent and put your phone and put it to good use.

If you got a Window mobile phone and if you live in Malaysia or Singapore, get Garmin XT. You can torrent and get it free.

Then for the map, come here and its open sourc and free:

http://www.malsingmaps.com/portal/downloads.php

It is updated every quarter. When I was in Kuching I use it and I just drive like a pro. Same as in West Malaysia and Singapore.
