yap , you are correct ...

just now, I went to Satok Ramadhan , not much variety compared to Ramadhan Stutong ... but definitely Ramadhan stalls offers more FOOD VALUE as to compared to Kuching Festival

Kuchng Fest only the stall nicely decorated , but the food really really not worth it ....

if chinese so what ?? who cares if chinese support chinese or not ... at the end, chinese also EAT chinese like what is happening now ...

selling house at high prices and insurance with no returns ...of course not all but most are like that soon

never get wrong if just RETURN TO BASIC thinking ....

if last year, the champion is the GERMAN HOTDOG stall

this year would be the DURIAN CrEppE ... so many queue up just now .. RM3 each ... reasonable but small amount ... imagine the work to open up the durian skin without hurting yourselves on the thick thorns ... no wonder many youngsters and ladies queue up for it (maybe dunno how to open durian)

how much is one durian nowadays ??

agree that the best ramadhan bazaar is stutong for this year. it is cleaner, more organized and easy to get parking unlike satok. for me, this is exercise of true malaysians. we can see all races come and be in harmony

yesterday i tried the Singapore Durian Puff - AWESOME lah ! but i didnt burp the durian(usually after taking the real durian) smell after eating 2 piece. the filling is actually mixed with cream so it's not that potent as eating the real stuff. im not surprised at the long lines queing becoz Kuciang oland memang durian crackos.

No Ibrahim Ali in Sarawak ... that's why! Sarawakians have always been the standard bearer of respect for and tolerance of each other.

I did go to the fair few years back and they did have Halal stalls back then. This year the fair coincides with Ramadan therefore, there will be bazaar ramadan too. Most of us don't go there because we have tarawih and tired from fasting...

but to say it is only visited/celebrated by the chinese only is very wrong. please don't play racial card here.
