I'll be vacationing in Sarawak in 2 weeks. Is a mask needed yet? Burning season should be around now I believe. Any sign of smog & smoke yet, particulalrly in Kuching?

The weather was reasonable, but hot and muggy. However, Kuching, besides the touristy areas appeared to be pretty unsavory for the most part. Some were downright unsanitary. It's difficult to consider a return visit.
