I heard they take on some Linux characteristics. Angel81 has the almost full spec of what Longhorn requires. I think it's in one of his mag. I'll find out for you.

Windows takut itu Linux Open Source...
kiasu.. kiasi...

I hope Linux can be like Windows some day...
all the games can be run in Linux and stuff..
drivers and things...

Would be fun to see these 2 compete
The single Giant versus the Majority

Computers are such a troublesome property. Of course, we always hope for the best for our computer. Tried the best to save money for having the good requirements to the pc, after managed to get to enjoy them, not for long and they release new OS, graphics, chipset and etc liao!

But it's so tempting la, look at the new system... so unique....boohoo...I love yet so hate.

P/S:
Poor pc games lover like me will be very disappointed or shock to death to find out if there are rumours or facts that they gonna need at least 1024 of RAM for the minimum requirement one day or soon.

:bad: hmm longhorn

i've downloaded and install this os.. well is dam slow cos i run it on my virtual pc. The cool thing about longhorn is the installation process. creating partition is as easy as dragging a slide bar to fix the partition size....this os doesn't use NTFS of FAT anymore, but uses relational database file system...
if not wrong i think this os will hit the market in 2005 or 06.
longhorn is gonna take up alot of resources ...
it's time for a pc up grade when it is out

angel81, it's in one of PC mag, remember? You showed it to me. Dig it out and post it here.

Webby, I think it uses relational database file in place of NTFS or FAT, as mentioned by angel81.
