SUBANG JAYA: Catholics and non-Catholics are flocking to a private hospital, the Sime Dary Medical Centre in Subang Jaya to see an image resembling that of Mother Mary which appeared in one of the windows on the 7th floor of the hospital. The full length image shows a lady dressed in a pint and blue robe, with a halo above her head, identical to pictures and statues of Mother Mary throughout the world .

Reports are skectchy as to when exactly the image first appeard at the hospital, formerly called the Subang Jaya Medical Centre. Visitors at the hopital on Friday night claim they heard about the phenomenon that night while some other Catholics confirm receiving text messages about the image on Friday night. According to early reports, the image was first spotted by some construction workers who were working at the next building.

As word spread hundreds of Catholics and non-Catholics started coming to see the image throughout the weekend, praying the rosary and singing devotional hymns to Mother Mary. The atmospher mostly was prayeful although there were some chatter among those present. . Many were seen just gazing at the image, almost transfixed like while others took pictures of this 'miracle'.

Catholics youths dressed in t-shirts with the word Faith emborsed on it, were seen directing traffic, to prevent congestion around the hospital area as more and more people began to arrive. "The management of the hospital has instructed us to allow the people to come and see the image and not to stop them. However, they are not allowed inside the hosiptal," said a senior supervisor at the hospital."

Some people came out of sheer curiosity and soon learnt who Mother Mary is. "I heard some Cathholics explaining to the Hindus who Mother Mary is," said Maria Arokiasamy, a teacher who had gone to see the image on Sunday afternoon. "People go throughout the world to see Mother Mary and here, She has come to Malaysia. Very nice isn't it. Maybe Mother Mary wants to open the eys of our Christian friends, to show our Christian friends just how powerful the rosary is. This is just so amazing, Seeing the image makes me more fervent in my paryers."

Others confessed to feeling afraid that the image would fade away before they had a chance to see it . "I prayed very hard that I would get a chance to see the image," said Gladys Mabel Lawrence, When I saw the image, I felt so good, so peaceful. I said "thank you Mother" . I am a very luck person to have see this image. I was there to witness this. What more do I need. When I came home I looked at the holy pictures I have and the color on the clothes were the same as the color in the image--pinkish with a mixture of blue." Gladys also saw another image forming in a window below . "To me it looked like the beginning of a rosay where the cross is and a hand is holding it."

The social media is also abuzz with this pheonomenon with one person recalling the lyrics of JOhn Lennon's famos Song, Let It Be. "When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me..."

But not all Catholics believed in the appearance of this image. A Hindu, Mrs Subramaiam, a retired civil servant recalled texiting her Catholic friend about it. "My friend replied saying "I don't believe it."

This appearance will be investigated toroughly by the church before a declaration can be made, as there is a whole process to go through. " It will take some time," said Father Lawrence Andrew, parish priest of St Anne's church in Port Klang . " Mother Mary's message ,whereever she appeard has always been pray and repent . We should do that. The fact that her image appeared in our country shows we should pray for our country," he added.

"It is just so lovely that this miracle happened in a hospital, where help is most needed. Whether the Church sanctions it (the miracle) or not, it does not matter, It is just so pleasant," said a Hindu who was following the news on facebook and twitter.
