it shudn't be that expensive..
they are just putting up the price that way..
so you can still bargain it.. if possible..

For me i would get separate drive cuz i use the burner quite often. Can do both things at a time also.. burn cd while watch DVD on comp. Lols..

Worth of not worth.. its up to you. Might worth on the convenient side or might worth on the price value side. So thats for you to decide

I want to get two drives, but depends on how much more expensive compared to combo.

Hmm...I guess I'll go to the shop and see how much more does two drives cost compared to a combo drive. Maybe I can persuade the tauke to lower the price, since I'm buying two drives from them.

I'll also need to see how many more drives can my computer mount.

So if I do buy two drives, is getting both of them from Lite On good?

My friend said BenQ optical drives are good cause they are making OEM for other brands also.
I think if got money can get DVD writer now, perfect for burning movies and dramas. Imagine 8GB of data in just one disc! It saves you a lot of space and time.

DVD writer.. i know its veli veli gooood..
but then the dvdr one cost how much? rm 15 ar?

1 dvd = 8gig
1 gig = 1000mb
8 gig = 8000mb
1 cd = 700mb

1 dvd = 11cd

1cd= RM0.60
1dvd= rm15

So 11 cds = rm6.60

Conclusion, using CDs to burn the size equally to DVD size, cd is still cheaper.

Rm15 so expensive? I think less than RM5 can get one la. Even now you can see a lot of games cd shops selling DVD games for only RM10 each. Better than buying games which need a lot of CDs.

Then bringing and keeping 1 DVD or 11 CDs, which is easier?
