From The Star - sept 18/06.

Sabah is pushing ahead to declare sept 16th a public holiday, being the day Malaysia was officially created with the inclusion of itself and Sarawak, which will be invited to be a part of this move. Does Sabah have a case in declaring Sept 16, 1963 as its independence day? What about Sarawak? Remember that prior to that day, they were both British colonies. Interesting, especially for the political scientists. Have your say.
