Hi,
I emailed Star Cruises to find out exactly where they dock in Kuching. Someone here told me they thought it was Senari. Can someone please tell me if this is what this address means, or is it somewhere else? We are coming on June 8th, 2007, which is a Friday. I read somewhere that Kuching Museum is closed on Fridays. Is that true? I had hoped to go there......... Pending Port Jalan Pelabuhan 93450 Kuching Thanks, Tracey.

Thanks for your reply. Is Pending the name of a suburb or town? If so, is it also near Senari? I can see Kuching and Senari on Google Earth. Can anyone help me find the dock on google earth? Thanks very much. Tracey.

Hey Hey,
Yeaps Pending is a suburb. Kind of like one anyway. Senari is located further down Pending, on the way to another 'suburb' called Muara Tebas. And don't worry, basically in Kuching, you can get from one place to another quite easily. It isn't that far. Depending on the time u arrive, you might still make it to the museum on Friday. (=

I wonder if there will be any shuttle or bus arranged to transport you guys from the Senari port to the City and vice versa.
is it? There aren't any taxis or public transport around the area. (correct me if i am wrong guys)

You can arrange the taxi from the airport to bring you there if you are planning to go there right after you reach Kuching. I'm assuming that you'll be staying at a hotel before going to the port, if so, then ask the hotel to arrange a taxi for you to go there.

Hello and thanks, to Lovebell and Webmaster. Yes, I am arriving in Kuching by ship and leaving later the same day. Star Cruises do arrange tours, but they can be expensive so we are trying to figure out a 'do it yourself' plan. Thanks.
